The lead-up to the 2023 FIFA FIFPRO Men's World 11 has taken a significant stride with the unveiling of the finalists.
Nearly 22,000 men's football players have cast their votes for their team of the year. The World 11 stands as the sole global football award determined entirely by professional footballers.
The nominees for the FIFA FIFPRO Men's World 11 are the 23 players who garnered the highest votes from their peers for their performances between 19th December 2022 and 20th August 2023. Players must have participated in at least 23 official matches during that span.
The 11 players receiving the most votes in their respective positions are then chosen for the World 11, set to be disclosed at The Best FIFA Football Awards in London, England, on Monday 15th January 2024.
